My approach and values

In our sessions, my first priority is to listen to you and understand your unique needs. Based on that, I will draw from a variety of psychological approaches and methods, choosing what best supports our relationship and aligns with our goals.

I align strongly with Carl Rogers’ core conditions—empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard—and trust that you are the expert of your own life. My role is to help you better understand your inner self. Sometimes, in order to bring deep thoughts to the surface and reconnect with our intuition, we need to shift our mindset. To do this, we might use different exercises or techniques, some during sessions and some as 'homework.' Many of these come from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Overall, I take a holistic approach, rooted in systems theory. This means I view each individual as part of multiple interconnected systems — family, work, social circles, etc. — and focus on understanding the complexity of the whole person, rather than just targeting specific problems or behaviors.

My Education

I earned my Master’s degree in Psychology in Hungary in 2013. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work in three different countries across various fields within HR. Along the way, I have also deepened my expertise by studying methods like Family and Couples Therapy, Grief Counseling, and Transactional Analysis. I continually explore new concepts, approaches, and methodologies to deepen and expand my knowledge, while staying up to date with the latest scientific research.

Supervision & Competencies

I will do my utmost to support you, but if your situation falls outside my expertise, I will refer you to a trusted colleague or guide you toward the right resources to ensure you get the best professional help.

To ensure the highest quality of care, I may occasionally bring cases into supervision with a more experienced colleague. This allows me to receive constructive feedback and further refine my approach, ultimately benefiting your therapy experience.
